Description:

“Smokey” is a solid, all-around family ranch and performance horse.  He’s been used by all of us for gathering, trailing, branding, doctoring, and sorting, and is consistent and reliable in every setting.  Wade started him and has used him as a pickup horse, he’s also been Mateo’s heel horse and reined cow horse through HS rodeo.  “Smokey” has been one of our go-to horses for less experienced riders- one to help students learn to rope and ride.  He’s been used on the TVCC stockhorse team for several years.  He’s a dependable , well-rounded horse that’s seen a lot of different jobs and handles them with ease.  He can literally go in any direction you want to take him- performance horse, ranch horse or trail horse.  He will make anyone a great partner
